Coral Sea 3/4 Day trip Sponsored by Izorline
Good afternoon everyone. We are heading in after a nice day on the water with a lot of familiar faces on board on our annual izorline charter.
We headed up the coast after looking at the weather this morning with high winds on the bouy's. We opted to fish deeper again to target the best quality we could find for our group. We found many spots with excellent meter marks however only a couple gave us more than a couple handfulls. We did find some large model Reds which made for some fun action around mid day and helped bulk up the bags. Our group today was a blast to have on board and all did a great job everyone stop keeping a positive outlook despite some of the slow stops throughout the day.
For our 22 anglers we ended the day with 179 Reds, 41assorted rockfish and 1 Lingcod.
The Coral Sea is 3/4 Day fishing again tomorrow with a light load so far and the Stardust is 1/2 Day fishing as well with lots of room as well. Please call Sea Landing at 805 963-3564 for reservations or visit our website to book online.
Stardust limits and light loads
Our passengers had a blast with very fast fishing for a good few drifts where we put on the bulk of our limits. Our fish consisted of decent reds and coppers mixed with some other assorted rockfish and we pulled up a lingcod
Stardust has good Coastal Fishing
We fished fairly deep all day and found that it was best to stick it out rather then try any shallower. Our drifts consisted of some decent fish, reds and coppers with lots of smaller rockfish.

We started in the deep water again today and had fairly steady scratch fishing on nice
Coral Sea Charter gets Reds
With our 20 anglers ready to go we started our day in the deeper water between 275-310 and head immediate steady action on nice Vermillion rockfish.
Coral Sea
Our morning fishing was fairly consistent on nice coppers, reds and brown rockfish with a sampling of lingcod and whitefish as well. Around noon, with a nice catch already in the bags we headed shallow to try our luck at some surface fishing.
Shallow fishing @ Islands
The shallows were fairly good to us, we caught lots of different species of fish including reds, coppers and other assorted rockfish with some really nice lingcod as well.
Stardust Limits at Islands
Headed over to the islands this morning with flat calm conditions. Our first few stops in the shallower water were pretty good to us, producing some very nice reds and a lot of other mixed rockfish.
Coral Sea has beautiful day fishing local zone
After some looking around we found a small area that wanted to participate and we were able to steadily pick at Reds, coppers, brown rockfish and a few other assorted fishes.
