Our fishing was fairly consistent all day with each spot kicking out good quality Reds with a few assorted Rockfish as well. The last few drifts were very steady on good grade Reds which was a nice way to end our day

We are enjoying the ride down the coast this afternoon after what ended up being a great day with both nice weather and some action packed fishing.

The weather stayed very nice for us all day and our passengers had a blast steadily pulling in doubles and singles all day. We got into one spot in the mid morning where we caught some monster rockfish,

We changed it up a little bit this morning and headed straight to the shallow water at Santa Cruz Island with beautiful weather conditions.

Our morning started out decently steady on Reds on Coppers. We looked at a few different spots and found relatively similar fishing on each one.

Lately the trend has been that we catch a few off each spot right when we drop and then the bite stops almost immediately and today was no different.

Our best fishing came off one stone later in the day where we pulled up some doubles and singles all around the boat which was a blast for our passengers.

Running down the island we were eventually able to get out of the current. A couple spots late in the day made our day with some eager big Coppers and Reds

The good thing about fishing deep is the amazing quality of fish we catch. We found that most spots would kick out a handful of nice fish right away and then the bite would stop soon after.

We checked some stones we haven't visited this year and a couple reacted a bit to our gear however the current made it impossible with the tangles. Much like the last couple days we were able to pick and scratch a small sampling of excellent quality
