We got off the dock with 17 anglers and headed up the line to try to avoid the weather. Although it was rather uncomfortable all day our anglers stuck with it and it paid off.

We stayed on the coast today due to the windy forecast on the outer waters. We fished deep in the morning and had a decent start to our day where we caught some good reds and coppers along with other assorted rockfish

Our day started out with a large swell and a lot of current and we spent the first couple hours trying to find something to work with. Around noon we made our way down the coast and found conditions that were more suitable

The weather continued to deteriorate but we fished hard for a while with little results. The wind eventually picked up and shoved us home earlier then expected but our passengers were an absolutely awesome group and they had a blast fishing today.

We fished in a consistent 15-18 knots of wind all day until later in the morning when it kicked up and made fishing effectively almost impossible. A big thanks to my crew for working the tangles and keeping everyone at the rail.

While we saw plenty of fish on spots for the most part they were very reluctant to bite. Conditions were very manageable and our group did an excellent job all day

Our morning was the best, we found a few spots that wanted to kick out a few fish which were nice reds and mixed rockfish.

A stiff southeast breeze this morning made for a choppy ride up and our first hour or so of fishing over was tough to say the least. Once the wind backed off and the current subsided out fishing was steady on every spot we hit filling our limits out quickly.

Our passengers stuck at the rail and fished hard all day long which was great and we ended up with our limits just before it was time to head home.
