We opted to fish the shallow water today and tried out some anchor fishing in our local area. Steady fishing throughout the day with mostly Reds and only a few handfulls of misc. Rockfish thrown in.

After looking around a bit we were able to find an area that had some fish that wanted to bite. We had 2.5 hours of pretty steady action on both Rockfish and Lingcod. The live Anchovie worked the best again today with a little more activity on squid strips than the last couple days.

The current backed off considerably in our shallower zone and once we got settled on the anchor we were pulling in nice reds and other assorted rockfish. Some spots were better then others but our passengers had a good time pulling in some nice really fish.

First thing this morning we had very good action on Lingcod with fish being caught on the live Anchovie, Jigs and Swimbaits. We got our limits rather quickly

We were eager to get over there and start fishing with our full boat of anglers and had fairly good fishing first thing this morning. We caught lots of assorted rockfish off our first few areas in the deeper water.

We opted to look in the deeper water again today after the winds this past week and it paid off. We found a spot that was holding big widows and a few reds in the morning and had pretty steady fishing up until noon

The weather was extraordinary & the fishing wasn't too bad either. We decided to hit the ranch today and boy did it pay off.
We ended up catching 173 reds, 57 rockfish and 6 lingcod for 27 Anglers

We got out today with 27 anglers and always a lot of familiar faces out today. We had pretty steady fishing on mostly Reds with a smattering of Copper Rockfish and Browns most of the day

We dodged a bullet today by not getting any weather, I guess you could say we got lucky.
Fishing today was fast and furious, got the job done very quick and headed home right before the wind started to blow

Our first couple spots were a bit on the slow side but it didn't take long at all to find the right stuff and in just a few drifts we were able to fill the bags with nice Reds and Coppers
