11.5.15 Lingcod Limits Channel Islands

15 Anglers, 124 Rockfish, 1 Rock Sole, 1 Whitefish, 45 Lingcod. Excellent 3/4 day fishing at the Islands!! Tomorrow looks good too. Limits of lingcod, net limits of rockfish, all nice size. We are a go for Friday's 3/4 day trip on the Stardust and the 1/2 day trip on the Coral Sea. You can call the landing for reservations 805-963-3564 or just show up.

40 Anglers, 172 Rockfish, 25 Whitefish, 39 Lingcod. Lots of nice lingcod and rockfish on todays trip. We went across, and stuck it out in challenging weather conditions and scratchy fishing. Still a fun day, but had to work hard for what we got. Our next trip is Wednesday's 1/2 Day Trip, followed by Thursday & Friday's 3/4 day trips. Lots of rockfish of course, but we also got into some bonito, whitefish & even some good sheephead. The Stardust is a go all weekend 3/4 day Fishing Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Beautiful day out on the water, a nice mix of whitefish and rockfish for everybody today. The Stardust is a go with plenty of room for tomorrow’s 1/2 day trip, just show up the boat leaves at 9 AM. 18 Anglers, 36 Rockfish, 135 Whitefish, 21 Lingcod, 2 Sheephead, 1 Cabezon. The Coral Sea had great fishing on an open party 3/4 day trip at the Channel Islands. The whitefish bite has been awesome, and nice quality lingcod too. We are a go with a very light load for Wednesday's 3/4 day trip. $78, 7am limited to 25 people.
