Running down the island we were eventually able to get out of the current. A couple spots late in the day made our day with some eager big Coppers and Reds

The good thing about fishing deep is the amazing quality of fish we catch. We found that most spots would kick out a handful of nice fish right away and then the bite would stop soon after.

We checked some stones we haven't visited this year and a couple reacted a bit to our gear however the current made it impossible with the tangles. Much like the last couple days we were able to pick and scratch a small sampling of excellent quality

We hit a lot of spot throughout the day and found similar fishing on most of our spots. We tried a few stones in shallower water but the fishing was slow so we continued on with our deep water fishing and caught some fish off each spot

For the most part today every spot was the same yielding 8-15 fish with a couple that cooperated better keeping everyone at the rail till we put the boat on course for home

We finally got a small break in the weather and decided to head to the islands to see how things were. We dealt with a few challenges throughout the day with a big swell and strong current at times. We were fortunate enough to stub our toe on a couple stones that gave us the majority

We had an excellent day of fishing and weather! After all the big winds, we decided to fish deep, and apparently it was the right choice bringing up almost straight reds. Lots of whales to look at today too

Hello anglers.. We are heading in with flat calm weather as the crew processes the days catch after a nice day of fishing at Santa Rosa island today.

We set our sights on the shallower water fishing for whitefish and rockfish and had very good success right away in the morning. Our first few spots kicked out a variety of species ranging in size

Our group was awesome and stuck with it all day despite moving around a lot and covering a wide area we were only able to pick a few fish off each stone. Flat calm weather with lots of wildlife made for great site seeing and it seemed everyone was in good spirits.
