We headed out deep first thing this morning and found nice rockfish willing to bite but the numbers were not super impressive off each spot. Our weather was nice all day and we had very little currents to deal with.

Today we charged the Santa Rosa Island ling zone, first thing before Westerly winds filled in the zone. Within 45 minutes we were limited out on lings.

We started our morning in 140-160 feet of water and had a fair start to the day picking away at assorted rockfish and whitefish on our first few anchor jobs.

We started our morning fishing for lingcod and had very good action on the dropper loop and live sardine getting our fish quickly. From there we headed into a shallower zone to see see what we could find

We started off our morning fishing for rockfish and then shifted to fishing bass in the afternoon. Lots of short bass and a few legals.

Good fortune continued again today for us as we managed to get on another batch of hungry lingcod for our morning. Our current was almost unmanageable today however with the fish cooperating

Excellent fishing for us today in beautiful weather. We started out again in the deep water and went to work on the lingcod with some very good fishing on nice quality fish.

the end of the day when we got into one small area that was willing to bite a little bit. We threw on some rockfish of all shapes and sizes and a couple other mixed species.

Now we are heading back across the channel looking at dolphins and whales again and eating AMAZING cheeseburgers & drinks. Can't say much more about today other than it was GREAT!

Our afternoon in the shallows was a blast with lots of coppers and whitefish as well as some misc rockfish thrown in as well. Our group seemed to really enjoy easily feeling the bites and being able to wind in the fish so quickly.
