Stardust 3/4 day Charter 7.15.17

Posted On: Jul 16, 2017 at 12:02 AM

Hello everyone, here's your stardust 3/4 day report. We stayed along the coast today with the high winds on the outer waters. We headed out deep first thing this morning and found nice rockfish willing to bite but the numbers were not super impressive off each spot.

Our weather was nice all day and we had very little currents to deal with. We fished around in some shallower stuff mid morning but realized most our good fishing was deeper. We got into one spot later in the day where we put on a good amount of nice reds and coppers and a couple lingcod. Most our other drifts consisted of 10 or so fish and then we would have to move.

We fished until we were out of time but our guys had a blast today and have very nice bags to take home tonight.

For our 35 anglers we got 160 reds with 76 assorted rockfish and 2 lingcod. The stardust is privately chartered tomorrow. We are 1/2 day Monday & Wednesday - both are a go, 3/4 day Tuesday, Friday & Sunday. Please make reservations for these trips on our website or call the Sea landing at 805-963-3564.
