Stardust 1/2 day 7.10.17
Hello everybody here is your 1/2 day report for the stardust. We headed out to the deeper water stuff first thing this morning with absolutely beautiful weather. We had a slow start to our day, we caught a few fish off each spot and then it would slow down. We hunted around for a bit before deciding to head into shallower territories.
The shallows at first were not much different then the deeper water. We drove around a lot in search of meter marks but it wasn't until the end of the day when we got into one small area that was willing to bite a little bit. We threw on some rockfish of all shapes and sizes and a couple other mixed species.
For our 26 anglers we caught 109 rockfish, 2 sheephead, 1 ocean whitefish and 1 lingcod. The Stardust is down Tuesday and Wednesday for a research trip but we are 3/4 day Thursday & Friday, please book spots now for upcoming trips on our website or call the Sea landing at 805-963-3564.
