3/4 Day Island Trip: "And that's why they call it fishing folks"
Today was a tough one for us at Santa Rosa Island! We traveled far up the island & fished hard until late in the day, grinding out 40 reds, 54 rockfish, & 7 lingcod for our 23 anglers.

We fished Santa Rosa Island today and had a very trying day of fishing. Our awesome group of anglers stuck with it though and stayed at the rail.

Got off the dock today with 19 anglers and headed to Santa Rosa Island. A calm weather forecast allowed us to look further up the island. The bulk of the catch today was great quality Reds and Coppers with few miscellaneous other Rockfish and a few Lingcod as well.

Very slow start to our island 3/4 day trip today! At around 12:30, with only 30 rockfish onboard we rolled the dice & ran up the island a few miles & fished a different area than we have been fishing the past few days...

We fished Santa Rosa Island today with 18 passengers. We started our morning in the shallower water with very little condition but we're able to scratch at some nice quality coppers and a few Lingcod as well.

Coral Sea went across to Santa Rosa Island, with a nice light load. Moved around, looking for the more productive spots, rewarding everyone with limits of Rockfish and some really nice lingcod.

3/4 Day Island Trip

We had to work hard for what we caught today but we stuck to our game plan of targeting the nicer reds & coppers & in the end everyone seemed happy with today's results. Our 25 anglers bagged 76 reds, 143 rockfish, & 8 lingcod.

24 Anglers, 52 Red Rockfish, 180 Rockfish, 18 Lingcod. Happy Season Opener friends! The Coral Sea went out on her first trip of the year today, and near limits of rockfish are what we have to show for it.

34 Anglers, 162 Rockfish, 80 Red Rockfish, 102 Lingcod. Going out with a bang! Limits of lingcod on our last trip of the season. Beautiful day fishing at the Islands and we are so grateful
