Fishing Report
Stardust 4H Charter
When we got to our first zone the current was kicked up quite a bit, however it made for nice long drifts where we did a lot of damage on coppers and reds along with many other assorted rockfish and some lingco
Coral Sea Rebels of the Sea Sponsored trip
Our afternoon was productive and once we were in the right area we enjoyed steady fishing on Lingcod as well as a few stones that produced some rockfish as well.
Stardust 3/4 day Coastal Charter
Late morning was the best fishing today, we had a shift in the wind and current and really started catching them with longer drifts that produced great reds and a few more lingcod.
Stardust 3/4 day gets it done
As the day progressed so did the fishing, we would catch a few more fish off each spot and they were decent quality for the most part. We caught a lot of reds, coppers
Stardust Shallow 1/2 day
We made a little run down the beach into shallower territory but found scratchy fishing. We did catch some cool mixed species fish in there but it was pretty slow
Windy, Rockfish Limits for the Coral Sea
We got off the dock with 17 anglers and headed up the line to try to avoid the weather. Although it was rather uncomfortable all day our anglers stuck with it and it paid off.
Stardust 3/4 day 5.14.17
We stayed on the coast today due to the windy forecast on the outer waters. We fished deep in the morning and had a decent start to our day where we caught some good reds and coppers along with other assorted rockfish
Coral Sea Mother's Day 1/2 day
Our day started out with a large swell and a lot of current and we spent the first couple hours trying to find something to work with. Around noon we made our way down the coast and found conditions that were more suitable
Stardust Coastal Charter
The weather continued to deteriorate but we fished hard for a while with little results. The wind eventually picked up and shoved us home earlier then expected but our passengers were an absolutely awesome group and they had a blast fishing today.
Coral Sea Private Charter up the Coast
We fished in a consistent 15-18 knots of wind all day until later in the morning when it kicked up and made fishing effectively almost impossible. A big thanks to my crew for working the tangles and keeping everyone at the rail.
