Headed over to the islands this morning with flat calm conditions. Our first few stops in the shallower water were pretty good to us, producing some very nice reds and a lot of other mixed rockfish.

After some looking around we found a small area that wanted to participate and we were able to steadily pick at Reds, coppers, brown rockfish and a few other assorted fishes.

We headed up the coast to some area we haven't visited in a few months and although there was considerable clouds of fish our first couple spots were rather slow

We fished the deeper water in the morning and caught quite a few nice reds and a few coppers. With only 7 lines in the water we would pick a couple off each spot with the occasional spot for a few more

Our morning started out very slow and we hit many spots for only a small sampling of Lingcod and Rockfish. We made a move down between the islands and were able to find some spots that wanted to cooperate a bit.

Our day stayed fairly consistent, we would catch quite a few right away and then the spots would slow down and we would move on to the next. Our current and wind was very tolerable today and our passengers had a blast pulling in all sorts of species of fish.

We made a move to some deeper water and thankfully found some fish that were eager to bite and had steady action on beautiful grade Coppers and Reds until we pointed for home.

When we got to our first zone the current was kicked up quite a bit, however it made for nice long drifts where we did a lot of damage on coppers and reds along with many other assorted rockfish and some lingco

Our afternoon was productive and once we were in the right area we enjoyed steady fishing on Lingcod as well as a few stones that produced some rockfish as well.

Late morning was the best fishing today, we had a shift in the wind and current and really started catching them with longer drifts that produced great reds and a few more lingcod.
