Now we are heading back across the channel looking at dolphins and whales again and eating AMAZING cheeseburgers & drinks. Can't say much more about today other than it was GREAT!
Coral Sea 3/4 day 7.9.17
Our afternoon in the shallows was a blast with lots of coppers and whitefish as well as some misc rockfish thrown in as well. Our group seemed to really enjoy easily feeling the bites and being able to wind in the fish so quickly.
Stardust 7.9.17 3/4 day
We started out targeting lingcod in some deeper water areas but found that the currents were causing a lot of tangles and that fishing deep was not an option for the day. We did manage to pull up some rockfish and lingcod before we headed in shallow.
Coral Sea 3/4 day 7.8.17
We started out looking in some shallower water again for lingcod and had very tough fishing for about an hour until we made a move out to deep water where we were lucky enough to find some hungry ones that bit very well

we did manage a few drifts where we put on numerous fish and some very good size ones as well. One of our lingcod came in at 21lbs on the scale, a very impressive fish.
Stardust 3/4 day 7.7.17
Our first few drifts were amazing, we pulled up doubles and singles of reds, coppers and lots of other assorted rockfish. The weather today was beautiful and we had very little current to deal with which made for a very pleasant day of fishing.

Then we slid down the coast anchored up at one of the kelp beds and caught lots of calico bass, most were short and a few legals.
Stardust 3/4 day 7.6.17
We worked our way into various depths throughout the day but figured out the best was in the deeps so we continued working that zone and ended up putting together an awesome day.
Coral Sea 1/2 day 7.6.17
Throughout the day we experienced steady scratch fishing for the most part on mixed rockfish with the majority of what went in the bags being reds and browns with an assortment of other Rockfish as well
