Hey guys, we had another very cool 1/2 day trip with lots of surface action. We pulled up to our first spot and had barracuda boiling around the boat immediately. We out on some nice size cudas and bass off our first 2 stops. 

Later on we headed shallower and got into some extremely fast calico bass fishing. Many were just short and we’re safely released but we did manage some great keepers as well. We also got all sorts of other species during the day. The water has been very warm and starting to clean up on the coast. The surface iron and the fly lined anchovy were the best baits today.

For our 22 anglers we caught  48 rockfish, 14 barracuda with 42 released, 10 calico bass with 85 released,  19 sand bass with 39 released, 24 ocean white fish and 7 sheepshead. The Stardust is running a 1/2 day trip tomorrow with a ton of room JUST SHOW UP and 3/4 day trips Thursday and Sunday that also have room.
