Merit here. This morning it was definitely looking like a day to make the run to Augies, given the forecast, just barely too much west wind for decent fishing at Rosa. But as we cleared the point it had all the markings of fine outer island day..

Good morning folks, at our first stop on today’s 1/2 day trip and it looks good. Just wanted to give you a rundown for this week. The Stardust is 3/4 day fishing Wednesday-Sunday. We have SUPER LIGHT LOADS on all days as of now.

We had a very productive day over at Santa Rosa island today. We started out in some zones where we found some really nice Lingcod willing to play,

Heading in from a fun 1/2 day. We had really good weather in the morning, and the wind picked up in the afternoon. We fished in local shallow waters and had amazing quality chucks, reds, and browns.

Heading in from Santa Rosa island. We had good weather all day. We primarily fished shallow all day. The morning was tough and had very difficult conditions, but as soon as it switched around we were able to have great steady fishing.

Headed in with full sacks for one of our regular charter groups. Very productive day of fishing up our coast line. Lots of reds. 20 fish limits! It was a beautiful day up the line on the Gaviota coast.
