With a small weather window we stayed local and fished deep with one of our regular charter groups. It payed off with some of the best fishing I’ve seen on quality cod here in our local waters.

Today’s local 3/4 day fished for rockfish and did very well for having to cut the trip a short do to weather. We got big Chillies and really nice other rockfish. Over all we had a great day.

Real good, real quick fishing today. We got out in the deeper water & had full limits with a quickness before the wind picked up. Shrimp flies work great today as well as the standard 3/0 circle hook with Squid and if you wanted to put an anchovy on it that also worked very well. Lots of chilies, green spot, and other rockfish.
