Great fishing on the local banks today, started off fishing super deep with very steady fishing. Then we slated to something a little more shallow and finish off with some nice reds and groupers and chili peppers and boscos, and a few flags. Great day nice quality, very fun group and lots of wildlife to look at. I do recommend shrimp flies when we fish deep water.

Great day at the island today flat calm weather, amazing entertainment, over 30 humpback whales, and dolphins in the whole way out in the whole way in. Never gets old. Fishing was very steady. Good mix on the rockfish and some lingcod.

We are back from another beautiful day on the water. We started off in the shallows and managed to capture a couple handfuls of bass, whitefish and sheephead. Water was off color and cold but the fish are there and will bite in better conditions. We then moved to deeper waters and captured limits of rockfish. Hot setup is a reel filled with 65lb braid with a 2 hook shrimp fly gangion and a 16 oz sinker. We have the rod/ reel available in the office for rent if you need it. Final count for our 10 anglers- 100 rockfish, 8 whitefish, 4 calico bass, 3 sand bass, 4 sheep head and 1 sculpin. We were also treated to an incredible whale and dolphin show most of the time we were fishing rockfish.

We had an amazing day of fishing the offshore waters of Santa Rosa Island. The fish were biting the jigs and live bait. Our 25 anglers captured limits of quality rockfish (250), 1 lingcod and 3 rock sole.
