Islands & Sunshine on the Coral Sea
Our 22 anglers today caught 98 reds, 97 coppers ('chucklehead'), 25 misc. rockfish, and 11 lingcod. Very good quality across the board today...
Limits at the Channel Islands-Coral Sea
Good afternoon folks, we are on our way in from a fun 3/4 day island trip and the weather was absolutely beautiful today! We fished the deeps for just over an hour this morning and threw on 4 to 5 nice reds/coppers per angler before we ran inside and fished the shallower spots in anywhere from 140-180'.
Mixed bag 1/2 day- Stardust
Nice load of people headed out on an awesome 1/2 day trip along the Santa Barbara coast today and are going home with big bags of fish. It was a little chilly and gloomy, but our group mostly from the Elks Lodge had no problem sticking it out. The bite picked up towards the afternoon so we stayed out a little bit later.
Mellow 1/2 day
Good afternoon folks we are on our way in from a nice mellow day of 1/2 day fishing. We went back to anchor fishing our local banks and had decent scratch fishing on steamer reds, browns, and olive rockfish with a few lingcod and other miscellaneous fishes thrown in...
Stardust Shallow water fishing at Islands!
Good afternoon anglers. We are just getting back into cell reception after enjoying a very productive day of Rockfishing in the shallower water between Santa Cruz and Santa Rosa Islands. Myself and the crew had a blast with our group today and everyone did a great job staying at the rail and fishing hard.
Coral Sea Awesome day at Channel Islands
Good afternoon folks, we are returning home from a productive day of island rockfish fishing despite the somewhat gloomy, wet weather today...
Killer day at the Ranch!
We had a blast fishing today with one of our repeat Charter groups put together by Robert Garcia. We decided to head up the coast today to San Augustine and concentrate on the shallower water anywhere from 140-175 feet to try to get a variety in the bags.
Great day at the Islands
Coming back in today with 18 happy anglers on board after enjoying beautiful flat calm weather and productive fishing throughout the day. We started our day in the deeper water and despite very challenging conditions with the strong current put together a nice morning on great quality Reds and Coppers.
Fishing Santa Rosa and Cruz!
We are heading in here from an absolutely beautiful day at both Santa Rosa and Santa Cruz Islands.
