We are making our way home from a fun day of lingcod and rockfish fishing at Santa Rosa island. Today we fished a different area for lingcod than yesterday and it produced some very nice fish for us. We spent the first few hours fishing exclusively for lingcod and then ran out a bit deeper and fished some new and old spots for nice reds and copper rockfish.

Our 22 anglers today caught 53 reds, 150 copper rockfish, 17 misc. rockfishes, and 66 lingcod. Much thanks to Norman Rodriguez, Paul Ito and Izorline for putting together such a fun group of people to fish with!
