We found some fish willing to bite almost immediately. We pulled up some nice kings along with some very nice coppers and reds. The wind started picking up sooner then expected and made for quick moving drifts.

We had a gorgeous day, typical half-day weather with a really fun group on board today. Fishing was not bad; we got 146 assorted Rockfish and 38 whitefish and a lone legal Sandbass for our 25 people.

The weather got nice throughout the day and our passengers had fun day catching what they did. Each spot giving us a hand full of rockfish added up to be a decent day in the end.

We covered a lot of ground and worked up the coast throughout the day. Our group was awesome today and stuck it out through the tough conditions and slow fishing.

From there we went into the shallow water and checked a few kelp spots and found one zone that was holding a lot of calicos. We caught a few handfulls of legal fish and about the same of shorts. We certainly saw a lot of fish in the kelp.

We went a little further then normal today in search of better quality fish. We found some good reds in the morning that were willing to bite and we put on quite a few very nice doubles and singles all around the boat.

We knew we were going to have to fish hard and fast for the fish we were going to catch so we made a move to new grounds and found a couple spots willing to give us some assorted rockfish and ocean white fish.

What a nice day to get out and go fishing, we caught lots reds some big grouper and a few chucklehead. The weather was still very windy to go across, rough seas you know, but up the coast here was like butter.

we managed to put some more decent quality rockfish in the bags. We fished until we were out of time and kicked it for home with some good fish on board.

Our last 2 or 3 spots were the best by far and we were able to top off the bags for everyone on board and headed for home.
