Coral Sea 3/4 Day trip
Absolutely flat calm weather today for our full boat of 26 anglers. We headed across to the islands today and started our day in the mid to shallower depths any where from 140-200 feet.
We managed to pick a few fish off each spot however the numbers were not adding up and there were a considerable amount of smaller Assorted fishes that became a nuisance. After moving around quite a bit and finding more of the same we headed deep for the rest of our day. Throughout the afternoon our fishing certainly stayed on the slow side however we were able to stay consistent on quality. Nice coppers and beautiful reds along with a few other assorted rockfish kept people in the water until we pointed for home.
In total our group today ended up with 151 assorted rockfish, 8 whitefish and 46 lingcod.
The Coral Sea is 1/2 Day fishing Thursday and Friday with light loads and the Stardust is 3/4 Day fishing those days as well with room available. Please call Sea landing at 805 963-3564 for a reservation or visit our website to book online.
