Thank you to our longtime charter group for coming out with us again this year! It is always a pleasure having you out on the boat. Let me tell you, these guys put the wood to them today. Jumbo quality Rockfish all around. The channel islands are really pumping out some good fish. Squid strip anchovy combo on the double dropper loop is where it’s at right now.

We have been having some amazing bottom fishing lately and filling up freezers. Limits of quality whitefish again with a couple handfuls of lingcod and rockfish to top off the bags.

Good afternoon, heading back across the channel. Our conditions were a little tough but we still managed to put on a lot of really nice fish the bags. Overall a great day.

Good afternoon, heading in from an epic day at the islands. We got our rockfish limits and had time to do a quick float for some nice whitefish and a few sheephead. The bags are overflowing with jumbo reds and big fish. Today was a great day on the water.

Very impressive day on rockfish today. Most of our fish were very big and hefty. Using bait was the key hands-down. The anchovy squid strip combo. We did catch a few fish on other stuff like little heavy jigs.

Back at the dock after an awesome 1/2 day trip. Lots of families on board today enjoying the last bit of summer. We had steady fishing all day. The weather was perfect and again the fishing was great!! We have plenty of room tomorrow going to the islands!!!!

We spent today dodging the wind and seas, hitting up Santa Rosa Island reefs early before the wind got up. Fishing was great, despite the current and swell being a little screwy. Anglers put on 200 nice rockfish before it got too bumpy. From there we headed east into much shallower, more sheltered waters and put the anchor down, looking for giant whitefish and a nicer ride. We got both, plus a few more rockfish. One guy baited with anchovies by mistake and hooked two barracuda at once. One got free and the other he bagged. Very nice Island fishing.

Good afternoon, we went out on a private charter. We got limits of jumbo reds and everything else was great quality. Now is the time to get big bags with lite loads. We have lots of room for Tuesday and the weather looks great for the islands. The fishing today was awesome!!!
