The ride up was very bumpy this morning however as the day progressed the seas calmed down and it turned out to be a beautiful day on the water. We had steady fishing on good grade Reds as well as other mixed rockfish

Today we had a small group and had extraordinary fishing! Almost every fish was a red except for a handful of other Rockfish. 8 Anglers, 70 Red Rockfish, 10 Assorted Rockfish and 1 Lingcod.
Everybody had a blast, we ended up having great weather too.

Our afternoon fishing was pretty good, we found areas that had lots of reds and some coppers mixed in. We pulled up a lot of doubles and found the quality of fish to be very nice.

Almost straight Reds for our group today with only a handful of big Bocaccio mixed in. The double dropper loops and anchovies worked the best with many doubles being wound up around the boat.

In the afternoon we found one zone that really wanted to bite and we were drifting perfectly to stay along the ridge for a while. We fished really hard for a couple hours and pulled up double and singles all around the boat

Our group was awesome today and fished hard all day and we were able to put together a nice day by the time we headed for home. Our morning was definitely a bit better than this afternoon however we were able to pick a few fish off each spot and the weather stayed nice all day.

We started off our morning with a couple stops where we had decent fishing on reds and coppers with the usual assorted rockfish mixed in.

Our fishing throughout the day was very consistent with everyone winding up doubles around the whole boat. Only a couple spots didn't cooperate with the rest being very steady on almost straight Reds

We headed across to Santa Rosa Island today with a decent weather forecast. We ran up to the west end first thing in the morning but fishing was slow and scratchy right off the bat.
