Almost home from fishing Santa Rosa Island. We had a fun charter today and caught nice mixed bags fishing shallow. We fished areas we haven’t fished in a long time. The morning was good the afternoon was a little slower but overall a great day.

Good afternoon gang. Excellent fishing today on quality chucks, reds, lings, groupers, whitefish and more. 20 fish bags all around for the guys and gals. Back out tomorrow.

Good afternoon heading in from Santa Rosa island. We had a family charter today they had a lot of fun and everyone caught fish and had nice weather.

Capt Merit here. On our way home to Santa Barbara Harbor after another fantastic day on the water. Our 25 fishers decked:

And released a really mean sarcastic fringehead.
We worked generally shallower depths, adding in the extra ocean whitefish that comes with it.

Wow, what a great day of half day fishing. Started off the day by catching a quick halibut and then we went straight to wide-open white fish fishing on the anchor with a few sheephead and a few Rockfish.

Good afternoon, heading in from Santa Rosa Island. We fished up the island and targeted big rockfish. We did not have wide open fishing but it was steady and good quality. We couldn’t get the whitefish to bite today.
