Open Party 3/4 Day Trip

We had some great cod fishing up our coastline today. A few barracuda and bass but not much cooperation by those things. We’ll check back in tomorrow.

Nice day today, we fished two islands. The fish bit jigs pretty good, anything compact between 4 & 6 ounce. Some fish caught on bait as well. Weather came up in the afternoon, but we had some very nice lingcod with & quality rockfish as always. The dolphin and whale show on the way out and the way in never get old. Thousands of dolphins and a bunch of humpback whales.

Lots of driving around today looking for bass but nada. Threw some fish in the sacks at the end of the day so everyone is going home with some taco meat. Good afternoon, we had a weather window at the islands today and it was a little shorter than planned. We still put some nice fish on the boat. We caught nice reds and other tasty rockfish. We made the best of it with the time we had.
