Santa Barbara Fishing Club Charter

Beautiful weather and nice fishing today for us. We had the Santa Barbara Sportfishing club charter the boat today put together by Whitney Uyeda and had a fun time fishing with them.

We looked at a few different areas in much shallower water today in the morning and found very little that wanted to bite. We worked out to the deeper water anywhere from 240-255 and had a couple stops that the Lingcod bit quite well.

Those using the live sardine seemed to get the most bites however we did catch a few on the irons and plastics. The Rockfishing was scratchy with lots of bait around but we managed to get a couple stones to react and picked away at some nice Reds and Coppers as well as some other assorted Rockfishes.

Our 18 anglers ended the day with 37 Reds, 72 Coppers, 43 misc. Rockfish and 54 Lingcod.
