Stardust 1/2 Day trip
Good afternoon folks. We are just making our way back towards the dock as Russell and Larry process the days catch. We got off the dock today with 37 anglers and headed to the deeper water to start our day.
A big swell made the first hour and half of our day very uncomfortable so I decided to head shallower for the remainder of the day. Unfortunately quite a few of our anglers today succumbed to seasickness however a few stuck it out and fished hard throughout the day.
We picked and scratched throughout the day although nothing really rattled our gear we were able to put together a decent catch by the time we headed for home. Really nice group of people out today who did a great job despite the bumpy conditions.
Our 30 anglers that actively participated throughout the day ended up with a total of 136 Reds, 87 misc. Rockfish including nice coppers, Browns, olives and a few others, 10 Whitefish and 1 sheepshead.
The Stardust is chartered tomorrow and will be back online for 3/4 Day fishing Thursday, Friday and Sunday and the Coral Sea is 3/4 Day fishing Wednesday and 1/2day fishing Thursday and Friday. Please call Sea Landing at 805 963-3564 or go online to book your spot on either boat today.
