Coral Sea 3/4 Island Trip

With a boatload of weekly regulars we headed across to SRI this morning with the hopes that the forecasted NW winds would hold off just long enough for us to get a few hours of lingcod fishing in before it swept down the north face of the island. The winds held off for several hours before it started blowing and that was a sufficient amount of time for us to achieve what we set out to do today...

Our 25 anglers today captured 75 lingcod and 16 rockfish. We fished for rockfish for a short while this afternoon and we caught some very nice coppers & reds but it was too slow to make it worth staying out there in the wind...
