Coral Sea 6:00am Charter

Good afternoon folks we are making our way back down the coast after a successful day of rockfish fishing ...We came across a rather uninhibited humpback whale this morning that kept breaching and tail-slapping and so we stopped for a few minutes, watched in awe as it hurled its' magnificent body high into the air, and took a few pics and videos before continuing on our journey to the fishing grounds (see pic...).

Our 22 anglers today captured 165 reds, 20 copper rockfish, 35 misc. rockfishes, 5 ocean whitefish, and 6 lingcod. Much thanks to Steve Pivato for putting together this awesome charter, we enjoyed fishing with you guys very much today! We had good fishing on 2-2.5 lb. reds today...
