Coral Sea 3/4 Day Coastal Trip

Making our way back down the beautiful coastline after a fun & productive day of rockfish fishing. We had to work at it a bit today and fish through a few brief lulls in the action but everyone fished hard and we were rewarded with a nice boatload of fish consisting of mostly reds in the 2.5-3 lb. range. Very few of the smaller reds we sometimes encounter up there.

Our 25 anglers today captured 195 reds, 55 misc. rockfishes, and 1 lingcod. Much thanks to an awesome group of passengers who stuck to the rail despite some bumpy conditions this afternoon!
