15 Anglers, 32 Rockfish, 1 Sheephead, 118 Red Rockfish. Easy limits today for our 15 anglers, with perfect weather! 1/2 day fishing is about as good as it gets right now on wide open rockfish. Great group of people on the boat, taking advantage of light loads on the weekdays. We fished on the anchor today, catching most fish on double dropper loops with squid strips & anchovies, some on small megabits & plastics. The shallow water is where we got he job done, so be sure to bring your lighter gear along with your heavier rockfish setup. The next 1/2 day trip is Monday-Wednesday on the Stardust.
