Good afternoon folks, we had a very fast-paced, productive day of rockfish fishing at Santa Rosa island today! After a slow start on our first several spots we stumbled upon some reds that really wanted to chew and it was pretty darn good fishing for everyone aboard today...
Our 24 anglers caught a total of 174 reds, 51 copper rockfish, 15 misc. rockfish, and 11 lingcod. We are heading in early today with full sacks and happy anglers. We had an amazing group today with many of our weekly regulars aboard and that made for very good, positive energy so it's no surprise to me that the trip went the way it did...
