Hi folks we are on our way in from a fun day of rockfish fishing at Santa Rosa island. We never came across anything noteworthy today that really wanted to rattle our gear but we did fish a few stones that kicked out good numbers of nice reds and for the remainder of the day we just bounced from rock to rock scratching a few here and a few there...

Our 26 anglers today caught 162 reds, 71 copper rockfish ('chuckleheads'), 27 misc. rockfish, and 6 lingcod. Most of our fish today were caught in 220-270' of water on double dropper loops with 12 oz. sinkers and squid strips.
