Good afternoon anglers. We got off the dock today with a full load of 40 eager passengers. With the high winds in the Western portion of our channel we opted to go up the coast and had a great day.

Our morning started out scratchy having to sit on the spots for a while to get them to bite. Around 10:45 we saw a noticeable improvement and were able to have very steady fishing on mostly Reds with a few Coppers and other Rockfish in the mix as well. Our anglers worked very well together and although we had a few tangles everyone listened well and we were able to cycle through fish very quickly once they started to bite.

Once again today we had good success with the 1/0 and 2/0 light wire circle hooks on double dropper loops with a 12oz sinker and a couple small Squid strips on each hook.

Our full boat of 40 passengers are taking home 305 Reds, 53 Coppers and 42 misc. rockfish .
