Good afternoon anglers we are coming home a bit later today in flat calm seas after a very fun day out at Santa Rosa Island. Today we had Loc Tran and his Charter party of 26 anglers.

For the most part today it we had pick through spots that kicked out anywhere from 8-20 quality fish. Around noon we had a pretty grueling lull in the action so we changed areas. Around 1:45 we had conditions straighten out and we were able to end our day with some very productive drifts on big Reds for the most part and a few big Coppers. Two stones today had some hungry Lingcod and we managed a nice score on those as well.

The Squid strip on a double dropper loop with a 12 oz weight was the way to go for the Reds.

Our 26 anglers are taking home 153 Reds, 68 Coppers, 39 misc. Rockfish and 46 Lingcod .

The Stardust is 3/4 fishing tomorrow for mother's day with a light load so far and the Coral Sea is a go for there 1/2 Day trip as well. Call Sea Landing at 805 963-3564 to make a reservation or just show up in the morning.
