Hello folks, we on our way in from a productive day of local 1/2 day fishing. Gorgeous, flat weather today and a very enthusiastic group of anglers made for an enjoyable day.

Our 27 anglers caught 228 reds and 42 misc rockfish. Many of the miscellaneous rockfish today were a nice grade of copper rockfish ('chuckleheads'). Our reds today were our standard 'steamers', weighing between 1.50- 2.75 lbs. Much thanks to our passengers today for fishing hard, remaining enthusiastic through a few hour-long lulls, and for kicking some butt when the fish went on the chew...

The Coral Sea is scheduled for a 3/4 day trip Monday and the Stardust has a 1/2 day trip scheduled as well. Both trips look to be fairly light and are a GO so please call Sea Landing at 805-963-3564 and make your reservations today. The weather looks to be gorgeous for the next few days!
