Enjoying flat calm seas and a gorgeous day as we return from another productive day of rockfish fishing at Santa Cruz/Santa Rosa islands. We picked up where we left off yesterday with steady fishing on big coppers ('chuckleheads') and nice reds this morning. After several hours of that we ran into the shallows (100-140') and finished off our day catching medium grade coppers and other miscellaneous fishes...

The total catch for our 26 anglers today was 21 reds, 204 copper rockfish, 33 misc. rockfish, 1 sculpin, 2 lingcod, 2 sheephead, and 3 ocean whitefish. Much thanks to our passengers that joined us on today's 3/4 day trip!
