Coral Sea 3/4 Day- Islands

Very good fishing today folks! The gorgeous weather allowed us to fish the front side of Santa Rosa and it was pretty good fishing today on a very nice grade of reds & coppers ('chuckleheads').

We didn't have anyone fishing jigs today but I'm sure a 5-6 oz. pearl or glow colored jig would have been deadly on the coppers. I still think the double dropper loop/squid strip combo is hard to beat for catching reds as well as coppers. Our 25 anglers caught 95 reds, 155 coppers, and 2 lingcod for the day.

Both boats are getting off the dock tomorrow (Thursday) with nice light loads. The Coral Sea is fishing 1/2 day tomorrow while the Stardust is scheduled for a 3/4 trip. Please call Sea Landing at 805-963-3564 to make your reservations for either boat.
