Flat calm today, 24 fishing, caught
13 lings
3 sheephead
78 ocean whitefish
240 rockfish (limits)
We started close to the whitefish zone hoping to get lots of rockfish with whitefish time to spare, but those spots no bita. Our first biters were the lings, so we switched to straight live sardines and got 11 or so before continuing on. A stop later the cods started to come on in a hurry, fast enough we had time to hustle all the way back in to the whitefish zone for a quick pass.
