Stardust 3/4 day 9.6.19

Posted On: Sep 06, 2019 at 11:13 PM

Good afternoon.

Today we stayed on the coast. We are headed back with limits in the bags a bit early today. Fishing started slow out in 240 to 300 feet of water except for half banded and other pigmy species, (which were suicidal). I finally gave up and moved in shallow to one of those tiny rocks so rare along the coast. It was one stop shopping for full limits -- olives, big browns, yellowtail rf, lots of steamer reds, a few short lings and at least one keeper.  Weather was hot and glassy all day. We'll be in about 3pm today.

Final catch for 17 anglers is:

170 rockfish

1 big rock sole, halibut grade

1 sandadab

1 ling

We still have room for Sundays 3/4 day trip, as well as our 1/2 day trips Monday through Wednesday next week. Please book reservations directly from our website or call the landing 805-963-3564
