Stardust 3/4 day 9.6.19
Good afternoon.
Today we stayed on the coast. We are headed back with limits in the bags a bit early today. Fishing started slow out in 240 to 300 feet of water except for half banded and other pigmy species, (which were suicidal). I finally gave up and moved in shallow to one of those tiny rocks so rare along the coast. It was one stop shopping for full limits -- olives, big browns, yellowtail rf, lots of steamer reds, a few short lings and at least one keeper. Weather was hot and glassy all day. We'll be in about 3pm today.
Final catch for 17 anglers is:
170 rockfish
1 big rock sole, halibut grade
1 sandadab
1 ling

These guys are great! I had an amazing day fishing with them. The captain got us on the fish, once the fish were on the whole crew was on point getting people where the needed to be, and getting fish on the boat. Epic day, amazing crew!Matthew Peter
