Good afternoon, we are heading in from a nice 1/2 day trip. We started out deep this morning and found fishing to be very scratchy. We jumped around a bit and even tried on spot in super shallow by couldn’t get them fired up with very little condition that we had. We did see some awesome whale shows where they would breach out of the water and slap their fins on the surface.

We decided to make a longer move to a completely different zone and in our first stop we saw nice reds coming over the rail. We had great fishing for the rest of our day and ended up with our limits with almost straight reds and few other species mixed in.

For our 9 passengers we ended up with 80 reds, 10 mixed rockfish and 20 ocean whitefish.

The stardust is running a 1/2 day Wednesday with a ton of room and it’s 3/4 day schedule Thursday- Sunday that all have a lot of room as well.
