12/26/18 Coral Sea 3/4-day

It was a windy day out at the islands, so we fished up the coast. Starting our day just an hour out we moved spot to spot, picking fish all along in deeper water -- 270 to 320 feet deep, until the wind finally got us. From the shelf break about 20 mi up the line we moved inshore to more protected waters and wrapped up our day in the shallows, getting a nice go-round on olives and browns before heading in.

Our final score for 24 anglers was limits on rockfish (240), and 48 whitefish, releasing quite a few smaller ones along the way.
