Open party 3/4 day island trip

Fun day for our 22 anglers today. Started our morning fishing for lingcod again. With a lot of first timers on the boat, it was very tough for them to stay away from tangles but if you were able to get a bait down to the bottom and actually contact the bottom, you were very likely to get a bite. We gave it a good chunk of time hoping everyone would adjust but it just got worse. We then headed towards the shallows and dropped the anchor, steady fishing on the big whitefish and an assortment of rockfish. Back out tomorrow.
