Heading in from a 3/4 day trip, fishing Santa Rosa island. We had really nice weather all day.

We started off Fishing in deeper water. Fishing was a slow pick threw out the morning. The quality was definitely there but the numbers were not adding up quick enough. Decided to head into shallower water and it was very productive. It was a nice mix bag of whitefish, lings, sheephead, coppers and other miscellaneous rockfish. Anchovies and squid was the hot ticket today.

Our 19 anglers caught 152 rockfish, 119 whitefish, 8 lingcod, 2 sheephead.
