Stardust 3/4 Day Trip

Good afternoon everyone. Just getting back into cell reception after a fun day of fishing over at Santa Rosa Island today.

We got off the dock this morning with 28 anglers and headed across in nice weather. Our fishing throughout the day was a steady pick on most drifts and with the current staying fairly strong throughout the day we stuck to larger areas of hard bottom where we could get multiple drops in before having to move. The live anchovy and squid were equally effective throughout the day and a couple anglers did well on the artificial lures as well.

Our 28 anglers ended the day with 280 Assorted Rockfish, 105 Ocean Whitefish, 2 Lingcod and 4 Sheepshead.
