Stardust 3/4 Day

Good afternoon folks. Just heading back in from what ended up being a good day of fishing across at Santa Rosa Island today.

Our group of 35 did a great job and put a nice day together. We started out fishing deep for Lingcod and and had good shots at nice quality Lingcod. A lot of anglers that fished the bigger sardine caught more consistently while those that chose to fish the anchovy and stripped squid caught a few as well as some rockfish. We worked shallower and fished a few spots before we decided to make a longer run up the front of Rosa in search of Rockfish. Our last hour or so was very productive on mixed Rockfish and our group took full advantage topping off there bags.

Our 35 anglers ended the day with 350 Rockfish, 28 Whitefish, 1 Sheephead and 48 Lingcod.
