Stardust 3/4 Day Trip

Excellent fishing and perfect weather today folks. We headed across with a full boat of 40 anglers and made the long run back up towards the western end of Santa Rosa Island.

On our way to our destination we came across an area that really wanted to cooperate. Giant Coppers and Reds with some Grouper rattled our gear right away. A few spots the fish were eating baits on the way down causing some brutal tangles however nearly everyone was bit most stops. On our way in we enjoyed some very looks at a giant area of blue whales ( 30+ animals ).

Our 40 anglers ended the day with 192 Reds, 175 Coppers, 33 Assorted Rockfish and 12 Lingcod.
