Stardust 3/4 Day Charter

Good afternoon folks just heading in from the Hollister Ranch after a fair day of fishing for our private charter of 26 anglers.

We started our morning scratching away at nice browns and Reds however the current caused so many tangles things weren’t adding up trying to focus on the smaller stones. We switched our tactics and made longer drifts over a couple larger areas of hard bottom and were able to pick a little steadier for a few drifts. Our group was able to get into a rhythm after a couple drifts and we managed to get a couple windows of opportunity where the fish bit fairly steady. The wind filled in as it got later and the conditions became almost impossible.

Our group of 26 fished hard and we ended the day with 211 Assorted Rockfish, 2 Lingcod and 4 Whitefish.
