Coral Sea 3/4 day Izorline Trip 5.24.18

Posted On: May 24, 2018 at 11:59 PM

Heading in from Santa Rosa island. The water was a lake today, amazing weather!!

We fished in deeper water to start out looking for lingcod and we found them. We fished a handful of spots for limits of them. We left at 6 so we were able to go a little further away. After we were done on lingcod we went in a little bit shallower. The rockfish fishing was a grind but we ended up with nice fish. We caught a lot of reds and chucks only a few other rockfish.  We had a lot of current which made it a challenge. The jigs worked today but it never fails the live bait absolutely worked the best.

The crew and I want to give a huge thanks to IZORLINE for putting this trip together it was a fun day on the water.

Our 24 anglers caught 48 lingcod, 108 reds, 82 chucks, 10 rockfish.

We have a light load 1/2 tomorrow leaving a 9am. We have a 3/4 on Saturday leaving at 7am with spots left. We have room on Tuesday’s REBELS OF THE SEA SPONSORED TRIP!! Giveaways!!!  To make a reservation you can book online or call the Sea landing.  (805)963-3564
