Stardust 3/4 Day Trip
Excellent day for us today with another light load. We got off the dock with only 16 anglers this morning and headed back to Santa Rosa Island.
When we got to our first destination the wind was blowing out of the southeast and conditions were a little uncomfortable for our first hour of fishing. It took a little looking around until we found a productive area however once we did the Reds, Coppers, Grouper and a few other assorted Rockfish came flying over the rail. After hitting a few of the small stones in the area we had what we needed and we headed shallow. We got on a small ridge in the shallower water with biting Whitefish and our anglers enjoyed some shallow water action until we headed for home.
Everyone is heading home with excellent bags of fish with 56 Reds, 45 Coppers, 59 Assorted Rockfish, 4 Lingcod, 1 Sheephead and 155 Ocean Whitefish. 20 fish bag limits for our 16 anglers.
The Stardust is heading out again tomorrow with another light load and the forecast is perfect. JUST SHOW UP, boat leaves at 7am. We are 3/4 day Thursday, Friday & Sunday. Please call Sea Landing at 805-963-3564 or visit our website to book online.
