Stardust 3/4 Day Trip

Much tougher day today for us today folks. We got off the dock this morning with 31 anglers and headed west, up the front of Santa Rosa Island.

We started our day out in the deeper water trying many different areas. We had a couple stones around mid morning that showed promising sign of hungry Lingcod however the action was extremely short lived. From there we made a more substantial move down the island and into some shallow area for the remainder of the day. We managed to pick away semi-steady on a few drifts while others were duds. Our group was a lot of fun to fish with and kept a very positive attitude despite the scratchy fishing.

Our 31 anglers totaled up 167 Assorted Rockfish, 56 Whitefish, 1 Cabezon, 1 Sheephead and 24 Lingcod.
